The results are in....

Well, here HE is. Our little boy. We found out today that we are having another little boy. We are so excited. I am glad that Will is going to have a little brother to play, to torture, to love, to fight, etc...with. We are all going to have so much fun. This little one is healthy, developing perfectly, and is quite busy in my tummy. The whole time during the sonogram, he waved, sucked his thumb, and yes...shot us the bird. I hope that is not an indication of his temperament....ha. No names yet. His room is still a mess, but that will all get put together, I am sure, just in time.

All I have to say is....BRRRRR!!!

Old man winter has hit...hard. The low last night was 9 degrees....with a wind chill of -13...what? Flurries with a high of 15 today. It is days like this that I wish I could sit around a fire with a good book and some great music playing. Well, no fire place, but I do have a good book and the music. I guess I'll have to settle for some hot chocolate to keep me warm. Snuggle up everyone.

What a Goof

From very early on, Will has loved to be surrounded with stuff...in tight places, covered with as many things as possible; toys, blankets, pillows, etc. Today was no exception. Twice this morning, he found all his 'lovies' and surrounded himself with them. I heard "mommy, I need help" from his room. I walked in to find him in his ball tub with every blanket, stuffed animal, and balls he could find. I am not sure how he managed to squeeze himself into the pile, but he did. After a fun time there, he got the front door rug and drug it into the living room to use as a bed while he watched his cartoons. Of course, he had to have a pile of goodies around him. What a goof.

A Whole Lot of Firsts Before the Big 3

We were really busy the month of November. We moved Will into his new big boy bed and did the whole potty training adventure...that is still on-going. But, the next and probably the biggest thing, is getting rid of the 'sucker' or pacifier. Will only gets to have it when he is in the bed...no other place or time. Every day, I remind him that after his cake, ice cream, and balloons, his sucker must fly away on the birthday balloons. Should be interesting.
