Bugs in Bluebonnets

You must be crazy if you think I can get Will dressed up and posed in front of bluebonnets. Not when there are ladybugs, worms, and a great dirt pile to be had. However, I was able to sneak in a few candid shot with The Papa last weekend in Paris.

Cookie Monster

Gram and Granddad-dad got to come in for the weekend. Can't you tell little one was excited to have all the attention.

Will got to go "Touch A Truck". The local Junior League Chapter hosted this great event. There were all kinds of fun vehicles that the kids could crawl all over. Will loved honking the horn on the big tow truck. And of course, sitting on the police motorcycle was cool too. BUT, the highlight of the day was.......

COOKIE MONSTER!!!!

Will was speechless!

Buddies!

The Boys: Will, John Kyle, and Noah. What a group.

I would love to know the conversation that went on here.

This is a classic John Kyle/Will pose....JK chasing a screaming Will....too funny!

Who wouldn't want to jump in a pile of foam cubes! FYI, don't throw a toy car in there...you'll never see it again.

The Next Tiger...Right?

Daddy teaches how to hold the club.

Will practices and practices.

And the dreaded frustration sets in....Golf...what a game.

Mike and Will enjoyed the nice afternoon together, hitting a few golf balls around the driveway. Each time, Will would go get the ball, say "here you go daddy", set up to hit the ball, and yell "Ready, Set, Go"....over and over....maybe fifty to sixty times. I mean, practice makes Tiger Woods, right? Maybe it was more like five to six times. At any rate, the frustration of trying to hit that tiny little white ball with a pink club that is taller than you, soon set in. He is just the cutest boy ever....have I said that already?

Marble Racing Fun

Not sure who is having the most fun, but the marble racing kit is 'cool', as Will would say. He only tried to eat one marble, but by the reaction he got from both myself and Mike, I don't think he'll try that again...let's hope anyways. I wonder how long until the marble kit is destroyed and thrown all over the house?

Why is it so hard?

Why is taking a family photo so difficult? It's either Will, Mike, or the camera that won't cooperate. I am always ready....ha, can't you tell? Here are few attempts to get a recent family picture....no luck. Will is trying out his new 'pout' face...he has learned to push out that bottom lip..so dramatic. Not sure where he gets that!

A little too much like mommy

Will insisted on drying his hair too...just like mama. I am not sure if Mike thought it was as cute as I did, but then again, I think that everything this kid does is cute. Oh, just FYI, I am not pregnant....the picture says otherwise. Yikes! That shirt will not be seen again.
