Life is better

Ok, I feel like I should tell you that I am much better now...as compared to the last entry. Sorry about that. Just one of those days...you know?

Anyways....

First of all, it is 64 degrees outside. The low tonight is 54! Not your typical August day in Texas. The weather has been great this whole week; highs 70's lows 60's. Can't beat it. We hosted our first annual neighborhood party tonight. When I planned the event, it was going to be an ice cream social, but it quickly turned into cookies and coffee. We all had to go back home to gets jackets. All I could think was football. It was definitely a football kind of night....Perfect for switching the channel back and forth from Dallas Cowboy's game to Olympics.

Second, check out the great pictures to the right. My beyond talented friend Bethany took our family pictures a couple of weeks ago. This is just a taste. I will get the rest of them soon. Can't wait to share a few more with you then. She is such an amazing friend with so many talents. And third...saving the best for last....we got Will a fish today. When I asked him what its name was, he looked at it briefly and said 'Turtle'. So we have a fish named Turtle. Got to love it. And yes, we will all be a little confused for a while....until I kill the thing. I am not good with fish. Maybe we'll get a turtle next time and name it fish....we are crazy like that.
