M.I.A.

After several complaints, I have decided to rejoin the blogging community. Be fore-warned, I may still be a little lazy with the whole thing, but it will get better....soon.

Since the trip to Denver:
-Found out that we are expecting baby #2 This should explain everything to most of you. For those of you who have not experienced pregnancy, let me explain....
fatigue, nausea, fatigue, nausea, fatigue, and then the occasional nausea. I am 10 weeks today, so still very early. With that said, there is still plenty of fear that I am daily putting at the Lord's feet. I have NO control, so His will be done. Our drs appt to hear the heartbeat will be next Thursday. I'll let you know all about it then. Hey, something to blog about.

-Will is getting so big and so funny. Every day there are new sayings, new sounds, new actions. Let's see...lately his sayings are "not today mom" which are reserved for diaper changes, potty training attempts, eating, sleeping, and whatever else a 2 year old doesn't have time for. "To infinity and beyond" is said regularly while jumping off the furniture. He is getting the whole manners thing down, however, it comes at a price. Usually accompanied with LOUD gas is "excuse me" or even the mistake of saying "excuse you". With that comes some pretty odd looks from other adults at the store. I just smile and move on....we'll keep them all guessing. He is really starting to pretend more. He will carry on conversations with his cars or trains now. What is funny is that he'll introduce himself to the toys..."Hey Thomas, it's me, Will." He does this with the dog next door, the fuzzy worms that seem to be invading my yard, and the occasional biker or walker.

-I am getting ready for some trips. Last weekend, I spent the day in Lubbock with my friend Bethany, shopping. Yes, shopping. Lubbock caters to the college crowd coming in from the bigger cities, so they have the better stores. Plus, it gave us an outing without going too far. I am heading back to Lubbock Thursday to drop off Will. He will get to stay with his grandparents this weekend. We will celebrate Mike's bday alone. We really need this time together, so I am very excited about it. And then I am off to San Antonio for the big race. However, I will only be waiting at the finish line for Kelly. Right now I am tired, so that sounds wonderful, but I know race day I will be wishing I was a participant. Next year. Kelly and I are making it a full girl's weekend, so I am ready for that trip.

So, with all this said, there will be future blogs. I am finally getting out of my funk and finding things to do. As far as photos, unfortunately, there are no new ones since Denver. That will change too. So don't give up on me.
